The improvement is a result of the sensors’ capability of measuring not only oxygen like lambdasensors but also carbon monoxide at the same time. SenSiC AB is a provider of new gas sensors for domestic biofuel heaters and bio mass heater plants which increase the combustion efficiency and reduce unwanted emissions also in comparison with so called lambda sensors. A positive side effect is that the payback time for the investment in thermal solar is halved. High temperature is used for producing hot water, mid and low temperature solar energy is used to pre-heat liquid, from which the heat pump retrieves energy. Unique for the system is that a great part of the thermal solar energy is used to improve the efficiency of the heat pump and makes it possible to use the complete temperature range of the solar energy. The combination of the new generation of inverter controlled heat pumps and thermal solar panels, gives a SCOP (Seasonal Coefficient Of Performance) in the range 6–8, which is two times higher than a traditional ground source heat pump. HYSS is capable of producing an entire buildings demand of hot water and heating all year round, even in the Nordic countries, without any supplementary heat source. In addition several more, highly interesting applications have already been identified.īy taking the best from the solar industry crossing it with state of the art within the heat pump industry, Free Energy Innovation has developed HYSS – Hybrid Solar System. Heating above 70☌ is the target application for the industrial heat pump. ECOP closes this gap by realizing a highly flexible product, saving up to 60% energy costs combined with easy implementation. While conventional oil and gas burners reach today’s requirements of producing heat in a reliable way, their energy consumption is high. Thus, conventional technology is poorly scalable, since distribution is rather time and money consuming. Second, conventional heat pumps are difficult to install and to implement since engineering services from manufacturers are needed for almost every application. First, the temperature range is mostly limited up to 70☌. Conventional heat pumps, however, have two important limitations that exclude the usage in industrial processes. ECOP develops cutting edge solutions for heating and cooling demands.
